In the Beginning fro David Wood
David Wood started with Amway at an young age with his father and brother. He worked truly hard setting up appointments during any extra time he had in his life; on breaks from work, before and after work, and on the weekends. His blood, sweat, and tears that he poured into Amway resulted in sponsoring 1 person every two months. It took him almost 3 + years before he started making any money with Amway. Why? Because of his Organizational skills and he was lazy, it was not Amway’s fault it was his own doing. When he started losing track of his product orders, due to his organizational skills, he instantly started losing money and over time left Amway.
David Wood then found another MLM Company that was not so time consuming in paperwork, named Pre-Paid Legal. He knew the people and thought it was a well ran company with a lot of value in the products that they offered and great Leaders assisting everyone grow. But he at no time learned the decent way to recruit and attract prospects.
He failed at these two MLM businesses, not because of Amway or Pre-Paid Legal, it was purely because of his skills that he lacked or felt that he did not need. Nobody can give you the strong desire for success to learn, you must want to learn at anything in life or business to gain knowledge to become successful.
The Middle Years for David Wood
David Wood gave up on MLM businesses and relocated to Hawaii and worked part time to pay his living expenses. But soon that got to him and he told himself that there must be a desirable way to make money. So he changed his mind set and started Networking 3-5 hours per week and started making 4-5K per month. He met his wife, Ashley, and then relocated to Utah. He saw his checks start to tumble to next to zilch.
After talking to his wife, they relocated back to Hawaii and lived in a 1996 Green Dodge Van. He determined that he wanted to start developing an MLM Business again.
David Wood and Social Media
Never going online before to recruit, David started a social media campaign that interacted with his offline recruiting. He became knowledgeable in Blogging, connecting with people through phone calls, and linked his online with his offline recruiting habits. He then started sponsoring two people per day with these techniques.
David Wood then got involved with MLSP(My Lead System Pro) and started to sponsor three to four people per day. He then did a presentation on his product and made $12,000 that day and has not made less than $5,000 per week since then.
Then the organization he was working so hard for decided that they were no longer going to be doing Network marketing prepaid him his last check and he found himself without a main product or service to sell.
David Wood Today
David Wood now is with a legitimate company that he feels will be around for the next 50 years. Because of his past Marketing through attraction, he started recruiting his downline and made the change easy and is right now the #1 Recruiter in his present company.
